To help your child enjoy the camps we wish to inform you of the following:
- Our camp activities begin at 9.30am and finish at 2.00pm at which time your child should be collected.
- Registration will take place on the Saturday or Sunday 10.00 – 1.00pm before the camp (Parents will be informed the week before the camp starts of exact timings)
- Children are grouped according to their age. This is by far the most practical method when one has to organise a range of creative and physical activities.
- Children often ask to be in the same group as their brother/sister/friend. There is no problem with this provided they are roughly the same age. As some of the activities on our programme are physically challenging it is not appropriate to have children of various ages in the one group. Please do not worry as this system is tried and tested and works very well.
- Children will have two breaks each day and they will need to bring packed healthy lunches with them every day. Children should bring 3 to 4 non-fizzy drinks to camp each day.
- Chewing gum is not permitted
- If the weather is inclement, please ensure your child has appropriate rainwear as activities will run as scheduled.
- Each evening lost property will be displayed in the hall. Please check that your child has all his/her belongings, as we are not responsible for items lost.
- Photographs and video footage may be taken at the camp for promotional reasons.
- If you need help, or have any queries during the week our Camp Manager will be only too delighted to help you.
- Our participants and staff are insured through both public and employers liability insurance.
- We ensure that our teaching staff are suitably qualified and Garda vetted.
